Lip filler treatment is one of the most popular cosmetic injectable procedures. It delivers instant and lasting results and can be used on lips and around the mouth to increase volume and hydrate the lips giving a more youthful appearance.

During your consultation, your Juv’ae Cosmetic Nurse will look at your lip shape, ask you about your treatment goals, and about any past treatments you may have had to work out a bespoke treatment plan for you.

How much lip filler will I need?

It varies on a case-by-case basis. That’s why your Juv’ae Cosmetic Nurse will want to consult with you to analyse your anatomy, understand the look you want to achieve, and work out the best treatment plan.  Sometimes you may need more than one treatment to reach your goal.

At Juv’ae, we recommend starting small and building your look if you want more statement results. We typically advise our clients to have around 1ml in their first lip injection session and building on that with 1ml every six months.

What are the advantages of lip filler?

Lip fillers help create volume and symmetry. They are ideal for people with thin lips or whose lips are uneven. Lip fillers can be used subtly or built up over time to create a more voluminous look.

What can I expect during the treatment?

It’s very straightforward! After your consultation, your Juv’ae Cosmetic Nurse will book you in for your treatment. During your treatment, you will have a Telehealth consultation with a member of our Juv’ae Medical Team, who will go through the Juv’ae Cosmetic Nurse’s treatment plan. You will collectively agree on the medication and amount of product required to meet your aesthetic goals.

After your treatment, your nurse will advise you on the appropriate aftercare giving you the steps you should follow to get the best results.

How long do results last?

Results vary from person to person depending on whether you are a smoker, sunlight exposure and how much movement there is of the treated area. However, in most situations, you can expect your lip filler to last 6 -12 months.

How much does lip filler treatment cost?

Depending on the product used and the amount will vary the cost. Your Juv’ae Cosmetic Nurse will provide you with a quote and gain your financial consent before proceeding with treatment.

What are lip fillers made of?

Many types of dermal fillers can be injected into your lips and around your mouth. Juv’ae Cosmetic Nurses only use dermal filler medications containing Hyaluronic Acid and are approved by the TGA. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body.

Are there any risks to having lip fillers?

Call your Juv’ae Cosmetic Nurse immediately if you experience any side effects.

What if I don’t like the result?
